It's a beautiful, quiet and relaxing lodge. The host Inge is very friendly and accommodating. She also made arrangements for a guided night nature hike nearby that was very interesting and adventurous. The breakfast was abundant and delicious! I look forward to returning for horseback riding in the near future.

The house is perfect for a couple. You got everything you need for cooking. Bed is comfortable. Missing a few hang hooks for the towel but otherwise all very comfortable. The pool is super nice. Kim, the host, is very accommodating and you ll received a warm welcome From her and her dogs. The house is about 10 minutes walk from the beach and a grocery store. 30 minutes walk from Puerto viejo so close enough to walk but far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet if needed. Highly recommend:)

The breakfasts were terrific with cereal, yogurt, eggs (scrambled or fried), sausage, pancakes etc were great. The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. The pool and kids pool were very clean and probably 89°F during our stay (end of February). The Tiki Bar is staffed with great guys who are happy to help. They offer adult beverages and kids drinks along with some really great lunch and dinner options. The only complaint is around the policy around the drinks at the pool. I completely understand not having any glass around the pool but there is nothing better than relaxing in the pool with your drink on the edge of the pool especially when the Tiki Bar provides the drinks in glass. Might suggest a review? The accommodations were also very nice with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room was made up daily with fresh towels for the bathroom and the pool. The location was also an easy walk to Playa Manzanillo. Are there resorts that you could pay double or triple the price? I am sure there are but why???? This resort satisfied all our needs and when looking at the hit to the bank account it was a fantastic choice. Don't be fooled by others, you will NOT be disappointed here
