And the best was the wonderful staff which truly went beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness. We loved all of them and were sad to leave. And they have many animals on their grounds (none of them harmful) and a sweet baby giraffe which came to greet our children… we truly loved our 2 night stay in this little heaven .

The cabin owner and manager were very welcoming. The house was fully stocked with house supplies and also had alot of ambiance. The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking with fresh air. Also next to the cabin is a relaxation/ games lounge. There was pool table, jacuzzi, massage chair and massage bed, there is a steam room also coming up. I would definitely recommend this place 100% if you are looking for a getaway weekend plan far in an wilderness kind of setup.

From the view across the patio (Kilimanjaro on a clear day) to the nice mattress pillows and the throw on the bed; everything was perfect. So is the owner Jane who is awesome. From the moment I booked she helped me locate a guide/driver to facilitate my tour from Nairobi to the property for 2 nights. The park gate is close by and I spotted giraffes and gazelles even before entering the park. Jane was extremely kind to arrange a hot air balloon ride at my request at a discount which now seems to be the best adventure thing I’ve ever done in my life! The housekeeper Julius was a star. He enthusiastically cooked cleaned washed and even packed my meals with so much love and care always with a grand smile on his face. So was the security guy Samuel; a soft spoken Masai boy. Forgot to click his photo. I wish I stayed here for a week. It was heart wrenching to leave the place.

David was super helpful, both before we got there and while we were staying. He helped us organize transport to/from Emali SGR, he booked our safari in Amboseli, and went with us on a motorbike trip to the Tanzania border. We had great Kenyan food and really enjoyed our time with the family. I can definitely recommend this homestay!

The room and the lodge were beautifully designed and very comfortable. The food was amazing. A great selection of drinks. Would definitely love to stay again

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. Lovely place to stay when visiting Amboseli. We stayed in a family room, which was comfortable and clean. It is a half hour drive to the park though, so you should aware of this before you book, but we saw so many animals on the drive to the park, it wasn’t a problem.

Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. Guided game drives and bush walks are offered at an additional charge. Food was delicious and the staff super friendly. Wild animals including elephants would come around and pass by. The view of Kilimanjaro from the camp is astonishing.

For guests with children, the apartment features outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate. Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at Tranquil Retreat, while cycling and walking tours can be enjoyed nearby. I really loved the customer service on top of everything. The space was so cozy, I would really recommend it to everyone and anyone. Top notch excellence, it surely is a home far from home.
