We stayed in many Riads in our trip in Morocco, but Riad Farah stands out for 3 main factors: the breakfast, which is delicious; the localization, very close to the Blue Gate and perfect to explore the Medina of Fes; and the staff, specially Ahmed, who helped and guided us during our stay with information about the city, tours and much more.
I would definitely come back to Riad Farah!

Guests can eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and cocktails. An excellent hotel in every aspect. The staff are extremely helpful and kind, the place is spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. Its location is outstanding—right in the heart of the market and the old city, so you won’t need transportation to explore the area. A complete and authentic Moroccan experience delivered with the highest standards of cleanliness and quality. Access can be a bit difficult due to the narrow alleys and the crowds in the market, especially if you have large suitcases. Still, this is a minor issue compared to all the other advantages. The breakfast was truly exceptional. Even though I arrived late, well past the official breakfast time, the hosts generously served us a full breakfast without hesitation.

I would absolutely recommend this Riad to everyone! I stayed here with my girlfriend Sabina for two nights. The Riad is run by young guys who truly do everything they can to make guests feel comfortable and at home. You can really see that they do their job with love, and with this review, I want to thank and support them for their wonderful work. We were welcomed by Muhammad (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!), and since we arrived early in the morning, he welcomed us with a delicious breakfast and tea, which we received as a kind gesture. The accommodation is in a great location, between two main streets in Fes. After breakfast, Muhammad sat down with us on the couch and took his time explaining the city map and giving us many great recommendations on where to go. Every day he asked how was our day. I really like to remember one evening when we sat on the couch with Muhammad and his friend, drinking tea and having a friendly two-hour conversation about Moroccan and European culture, religion, and traveling. That was what I liked the most – Muhammad and his colleagues were really interested in their guests, they made friends with them, and really wanted to get to know them. The accommodation is clean, colorful, safe, and a true example of honest human work. When we left Fes for Marrakech early in the morning, we got a breakfast to go and even a handwritten note with tips on what to visit in Marrakech. Thank you so much! :-) BIG PLUS: Muhammad is originally from Merzouga and can help you organize a desert trip (he’ll recommend and arrange a tour for you). Mach’s gut! And greetings from Germany :-) Jakub and Sabina

Guests may eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and cocktails. Nice and cute Riad nicely located in the Old City within walking distance to all the key spots. The Riad was very nice and calm with an excellent breakfast provided in the morning. The staff were always on hand to help and just an overall pleasant experience.
Friendly staff. Hamsa is great. Fun location. Don't let the kids in the street fool you!
The property was a lovely traditional family hotel managed by a wonderful person. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The balcony overlooking the Medina was breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and Mr Tazi, his family and staff were very welcoming and kind. The food was positively divine ❤️
The Riad is really beautiful and is really well maintained and a short walk to the Medina. The staff is very friendly and we felt at home. Touria was very attentive and organised and we enjoyed Samira’s food every night, it was the best food we had in Morocco! Our family had a fun time doing the cooking class in the kitchen!
It was right at the entrance of the Medina, but not in the center, so not as overwhelming if you’re not used to it. The rooms were stunning, large, traditionally decorated, were a family of 5 and it easy fit us and all our bags. The terrace had an amazing view, sunrise and sunset are a must. The hospitality was excellent, loved the food, the Lamb Tajine was our favorite and the breakfast is so generous. They were great with our kids, would recommend to anyone visiting Fes.
Perfect location for us to visit the medina. The staff were very helpful and bent over backward for us as we had odd arrival and departure times. Also responded very quickly to our requests. Very family friendly!
The riad is very family friendly. Kids could play over the many levels and had a lot of fun. Food was excellent. The rooms were great and beautiful, with many nice details like warm covers. The staff was very friendly and responded fast to our requests. We already have been to great and expensive riads in Fes and although this riad is simpler in its architecture, the experience was so good that it is now our favourite in Fes.
Our stay at Dar Elinor was beautiful. Everyone here is so friendly, it feels like home. They couldn’t do more for there guests. They give a map with detailed explanation of everything you need to see around Fes. Organise any requirements you may need. They are so accommodating to families, allowing the children freedom to play and splash 😆 the rooms are spacious and very clean. The food plentiful and delicious. It has a very traditional feel and the people are wonderful 💛
