Shwedagon Pagoda is a 6-minute drive from the hotel. Three weeks before this stay, I was here for eight nights, and a mistake by the reception staff caused my deposit refund to take over a month. I complained about it, asked them to prevent it from happening again, and then stayed for three more nights. The manager who handled my case was extremely honest and straightforward. To apologise, they gave me a substantial room upgrade and Executive Lounge access. They went above and beyond, expressing their sincere apology by not even taking a deposit when I checked in and allowing me to pay the total room cost only upon check-out. I will certainly stay here again when I come back to Yangon, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for the best all-around hotel experience in the city.

I have spent around 5 years of the last 20 years travelling on business and staying in 5 star hotels in Asia , Europe and LATAM, so I have high expectations. This hotel may be the best hotel that I have ever stayed in ! I booked a standard room and this felt like a deluxe room. The design was very impressive and the details in everything were carefully thought through. Cleanliness was exceptional and the staff were incredible. If you are staying in Yangon THIS is the place to be. If/when I return to Yangon, then this is the only place that I will stay..
