The moment you arrive at the Villa you realize how quiet and peaceful it is. The mattress was new and comfortable and there is a mosquito net. Wycliffe the owner and his family will make sure you feel at home, he helped me even when I was sick in the stomach, he took me to the clinic and waited there with me until I was done. The property is around 8 km from Kabale town and there is a private motorcycle taxi service on demand for 20000 shillings, both ways. There are many activities to be done including kayaking and visiting the local communities provided by Wycliffe. Also they prepare delicious meals at the Villa. One thing that I appreciated is Wycliffes effort to help the local communities. Some of the revenues of the Villa go to the poorest. Thank you so much for helping me out in time of need 💕

At the hotel, rooms come with a balcony with a mountain view. This place is truly a hidden gem! I stayed 3 days 2 nights, wish I can stay longer. What makes this place so special are the staff. From the manager (pick up me at the town and send to the resort by boat), the boatman, local guide, chef, helper and all in the resort. This resort strategic location is perfect who love quiteness and really into the nature. Trust me once you are here you dont feel like to leave. The property is fully self-sustaining, so if you're not a fan of outdoor latrines, be prepared ;) Hot showers are available but need about an hour preparation time. The staff really goes out of their way to accommodate all your wishes and make you feel right at home. I recommend staying in their geo domes as it is an experience you will never forget. The menu at their "canteen" is a dream for vegetarians. Just the perfect place to relax and switch off for a few days. They organize tours to other islands as well, which I didn't try as I just wanted to relax for a few days before heading to the hustling streets of Kampala. They also organized a gorilla track for me in Bwindi at very short notice, which they made into the perfect day and memorable experience. Thanks again for everything 🙏
