One could not ask for a better host. He made my stay on Ly Son very enjoyable. He has a map of the island prepared for those of is who like to walk. He booked ferry tickets and a snorkeling trip me. He picks us up and drops us at the ferry. He answers all of his messages promptly. Although not entirely sound proof i slept very well. He went out of his way to give me a room on the top floor. It has a lovely view of the fishing port. The rooms is very clean. It has hooks, tables and a wardrobe. Market is close by and delicious com tam restaurant almost across the street.

The room was clean and well-organized, with a working TV, air conditioning, small fridge, and hot shower. The bed was also very comfortable. Although not directly beachfront, the beach is only a 2–3 minute walk away, and the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel to explore the island, which I highly recommend. While the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, you can request meals in advance, or easily find small local eateries nearby, especially during your island tour. For the price, it’s incredibly affordable and definitely worth it. I would happily stay here again when I return to Ly Son Island—not just for the convenience, but for the warm hospitality of the owner. The island itself is stunning and gave me a deep sense of peace while exploring by motorbike.
