The traditional, home made breakfasts were delicious; wonderful wholesome foods- home made butter, scalded milk, honey, fresh cakes and biscuits, bread, yoghurt, a variety fruits, juices, espresso coffee - everything you could want. The location was idyllic. Cool, pristine rooms beautifully furnished with finest bed linens. Views of the countryside in every direction with endless walking possibilities, well kept farm animals and horses to be admired by adults and children alike. A fantastic location, only 5 miles from Matera on easy, scenic roads. Marialaura, the Masseria owner, so erudite, helpful and informative. An ideal holiday destination for those who want to relax, hike, explore the countryside or history buffs. Fantastic experience.
