We absolutely loved the property. After a few weeks in loud cities, this was a gods send. The property is only a short drive from Volterra, and makes a perfect base of operations if you are exploring Tuscany.

The property is set amongst the very best of the rolling territory of Tuscany. Claudia was very knowledgeable in the art of cooking Tuscan food, which we ate later and was delicious. Sad to leave because would have preferred a much longer stay

Some of the units include a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, and a private bathroom with a bidet and a hair dryer. The units feature a wardrobe. The place is close to other towns and cities in range of 1-2h drive, has pretty views, local food and a pool. It's pretty close to nice beaches, around 15 min drive. Everything was great: the hospitality and kindness of the hosts, the food they served for breakfasts, their homemade products (olive oil, preserved vegetables, yummy marmelades, liquers) and all their efforts to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were served a delicious dinner one evening including antipasti with local delicacies, pasta, wine, desserts and coffee. It was also possible to buy their olive oil, homemade marmelades and preserved vegetables. I recommend their artichokes in olive oil! The hostess Simonetta made us feel like home, she treated us with a glass of limoncello from time to time, bought vegan milk just for us, has offered a bike for my child and was so kind to even give her a little farewell present! Don't even make me start about the place itself. Imagine yourself sitting on a terrace, sipping wine and enjoying wonderful tuscan view on one side and having a pool on the other. Everything was clean and well maintained, all the plants and blooming flowers around, lots of places to rest outside and enjoy a book or a conversation. There was also a little playground for smaller kids and a swing for older ones. The owners also maintained chickens nearby, and hearing a rooster was a nice touch to the overall countryside vibe. I think the best compliment for this venue is the fact that many Italian guests were staying there. We've rented a small house for 3-4 guests including kitchen and a folding bed for 2 ppl downstairs and a bedroom with a king size bed and a bathroom upstairs. The air conditioning was working fine. We had also a terrace under a roof with table and sunbeds. The pool was available few meters away. It was very clean, with sun umbrellas and sun beds available and you could enjoy a stunning view from the water.

Boasting pool with a view and views of garden, Il Gelso is a farm stay set in a historic building in Montopoli in Val dʼArno, 36 km from Montecatini Train Station. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the farm stay free of charge. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Everything is perfect. A perfect accomodation in beautiful Tuscany for our family with 2 kids and a dog. The dog was very happy with a big safe yard. The pool is amazing, opened day and night. Davide is a great host, we recieved a gift from him, a jam of honey. Coffe in our room in the morning. Only good words about everything.

Our apartment was beautiful- spacious, comfortable and so charming! Modern-day convenience with old-world charm. The property grounds were very well kept and the views were stunning. Giulia was very helpful with suggestions and directions. And they are building a restaurant which will be very convenient.

Boasting pool with a view and views of garden, Agriturismo Villa Rosselmini is a farm stay set in a historic building in Calci, 10 km from Leaning Tower of Pisa. An open-air bath and a car rental service are available for guests. The farm stay also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. I liked Villa because it has a story. The grounds of the villa are beautiful and large. The apartment is tidy, but the showers could be a bit more well maintained. But the kitchen and the large double fridge were very suitable for our family of 4. Loreno was very attentive, thank you! Definitely recommended!!!
