We loved it here! Kylie and family were such wonderful and warm hosts. Kylie was very responsive to messages and provided pictures to help check in go smoothly. The space was as pictured and was beautifully decorated/appointed. We were welcomed with a freshly baked loaf of country bread and a refrigerator stocked with every thing we needed for breakfast including some almond milk for my vegan companion. The bed and sofa couch were both very comfortable. At night, being away from town we could see the stars! Kylie had such nice touches like high end shampoo/condition/lotion, a USB plug, nice linens, pretty plates and stoneware, and absolutely every thing you would need in the kitchen.
We were going to Hobbiton and were looking for a place nearby to stay so we would not have to drive to Rotorua or Hamilton after. It's 18 minutes away and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Believe me we looked at the other options in the area and this one was far better by strides.

We had an amazing stay at this farmhouse guesthouse! Thanks to the farmer host and his wife for patiently showing us around the room and recommending a great place for dinner. We really appreciated the farmer host taking us on a tractor tour of his farm, showing us how it operates and how they milk the cows. It was a unique experience, and we learned so much. The farm is beautiful. The bed in the guesthouse was very soft, and the room was exceptionally clean. The view from the room was fantastic, especially the stunning sunrise. The host's pet dog, Rose, was adorable, and I especially liked her, as well as their cat, which I also really liked! This is an amazing place! We had a very comfortable night."

Start to finish, we felt so pampered and cared for. Of the beaten track, this quiet and charming place was the ideal for a couple's getaway. Please do opt in for dinner, breakfast and the ATV farm tour. We loved our stay! Special thanks to Aaron, Chef Stuart and Station Manager James.

Absolutely amazing morning walk to see, pet and feed alpacas. Best place we've stayed in NZ! Quiet, beautiful surroundings, great to chilli, highly recommended.

Every aspect of this homestay is absolutely lovely. The home has beautiful interior decor and the hosts are so welcoming and accommodating.
Take the time to appreciate the beautiful aspects of their home, and have you feel like this is a home away from home for their guests.
Great facilities, nice and private and only about 10-12 minutes from Tuakau it's a great location to stay.
If you are fortunate enough to be offered a traditional Indian tea to drink I highly recommend saying yes.

Lovely friendly hosts that communicated well and provided us with excellent driving instructions to find the location. We loved that the Loft was warm and cozy and had all the comforts we needed while away from home. We were touched by the home made brownie snack left in the kitchen for us. We felt very welcomed on the farm and enjoyed our short stay very much.

From the moment we arrived, they were VERY welcoming. The room was absolutely perfect. They were both so friendly. We chatted for a bit and got recommendations for a sightseeing flight tour(we ultimately ended up booking). They also offered for us to use the laundry room and gave us a tour of the farm. If we ever come back to NZ, we will definitely stay here again. It was perfect in every way!

Cleverly designed and built so that visitors can wake and see - from their beds - beautiful views all around, including the nearby field of alpacas! All the facilities are stylish and high spec, and everything is pristine clean. If you’re able to get up around 7.30/8am, you can help Neil feed the family’s alpacas and goats. And there are fantail birds filling the pine trees by the room pods, and fully grown (and still alive) kauri trees on the farm; it’s very special here.

The breakfast was self-serve, but there are enough facilities in the cute kitchenette to fix yourself a simple breakfast. We loved the fresh baked bread and ate the whole loaf between the 2 of us. The mini espresso maker was great and I especially appreciated it! The bed was comfy and the location was perfect for a quick hop over to Hobbiton. The idyllic farm setting was very charming though we did not spot any farm animals on our brief stay.
