Our stay at Maylands Lodge was absolutely phenomenal! Starting with the building itself, it's a really well-kept building, beautiful exterior & interior. Room was clean and had a lot of space, great bathroom and a very own fireplace in the room. Staff & Breakfast was exceptional! Would definitely consider coming back the next time I get to Hobart!

Our stay at this lovely and charming hotel was made exceptional by the attention that was given to us by Marc and his capable team. Being greeted by a relaxing cup of tea in the morning room after a long, busy day was just the perfect beginning to our stay. The food was amazing with the quality of the local Tassie produce shining through, and the views - be it from our room or the gorgeous conservatory were simply stunning. The breakfast was included in the room cost and we appreciated the array of delicious options. The turn-down service was a special touch and my husband and I felt pampered and relaxed during our entire stay. A special mention of Marc - he went the extra mile with our requests and made us feel special. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here - especially because of the care extended to us.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for walking around the wharf area. Close to lots of good bars and restaurants and tourist activities.

JohnZ was very attentive to all of our group, he is a real asset to this hotel. The breakfast was excellent each morning. We travelled to the hotel by our rental vehicle but it is a little out of the way but it's very quiet there.
