I stayed at this hotel with three friends in Zhangjiajie and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Winnie, who was very enthusiastic and helpful throughout our stay. The check-in process was smooth, and our rooms were luxurious, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel’s service was top-notch, especially thanks to Winnie. She provided excellent advice on things to do in the area and helped us plan our days in a way that made everything run smoothly. Whenever we had questions, she was quick to assist. The hotel also offers a great swimming pool and a restaurant with tasty local food. The location was perfect—just a short ride to the National Park entrance. Every morning, we were taken to the park by golf cart, and Winnie also helped arrange taxis when we needed to go elsewhere or needed airport transport. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Zhangjiajie.

Very cozy and calm environment. Super friendly personnel. Rain helped us a lot with all tickets to National Park and transfer. We felt like home. The rooms and the place of the hotel is great! Very luxury experience. Our highlight is the cinema is the room😀👍 The breakfast was also nice.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect – just steps away from the Tianmen Mountain cable car, and with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to explore. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and we really appreciated the hearty breakfast buffet each morning. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff. From the complimentary pickup service to helping us arrange tickets, transportation, and even offering personalized travel tips, they went above and beyond to make our visit smooth and enjoyable. It felt like having a friendly local guide right at the hotel! A genuinely wonderful place to stay – highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

My stay at Guan Yun Shan Ju was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the serene mountains, this lodge truly lives up to its name "Cloud-Gazing." Waking up to a sea of clouds right outside our window was nothing short of magical. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The wooden beams and soft lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional; they were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight! We enjoyed delicious, locally-sourced meals that were both fresh and flavorful. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and watching the clouds roll by was the perfect way to unwind. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.

We've just returned from a thoroughly delightful stay. The hotel is perfectly situated for the national park – one simply walks out of the gate and one is there. It's all terribly convenient. Our room was spotlessly clean and remarkably comfortable, offering a rather lovely view of the peaks. The swimming pool was a godsend after a day's walking, and the grounds with the little stream are quite charming. What really made the difference was the staff. So helpful and polite, without being intrusive. They provided excellent advice on routes and handled the ticket bookings seamlessly. The breakfast was rather good, too – a splendid start to the day. All in all, a most agreeable and well-run establishment. We should not hesitate to recommend it to fellow travellers.

Title: Great Value, Convenient Location for Exploring Zhangjiajie I recently stayed at the Merlot Crystal Hotel for a few nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel offers solid value and is a great base for exploring the stunning sights of Zhangjiajie Location & Convenience: The hotel's location is a major plus. It's not right inside the national park, but it's situated in the city with easy access to many restaurants and shops right downstairs, which was very handy for meals The hotel is also about 5 km from the Zhangjiajie Railway Station, making transportation quite convenient Room & Cleanliness: My room was modern, spacious (about 30 m²), and, most importantly, very clean Everything was functional, and it provided a comfortable space to relax after a long day of hiking. The bed was comfortable, which ensured a good night's sleep Service: The service was efficient and friendly. The staff at the front desk were helpful and provided useful tips for local tours Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth Breakfast & Amenities: The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with both Chinese and Western options, which was a good way to start the day I also appreciated the on-site parking facility, which is a bonus for those traveling by car Overall, the Zhangjiajie Merlot Crystal Hotel is a reliable and comfortable choice. It was truly an unparalleled experience, absolutely fantastic. Zhangjiajie is incredibly beautiful, and the feeling of being immersed in such a stunning environment was simply wonderful. Their property is very beautiful. The breakfast was also delicious, and the staff here are lovely. We're very grateful for their travel advice and assistance—booking tickets and arranging a guide was extremely efficient. Having an English-speaking butler was so important.
