The pool is small but a beautiful setting. We were the only ones in there. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and always with a smile. We were sad to leave.

Lovely modernised historic buildings near the centre of town but just far enough removed to enjoy some peace at the weekends. The staff went above and beyond in helping us, including parking, looking after bags, and some specific dietary requirements. The garden areas and swimming pools are excellent too. Few hotels offer this level of service.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The elevators coordinated well, no long waiting times. Excellent breakfast and the pool is open from early morning til the evening, giving time to everybody to enjoy. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
