Whilst the Lalit might have started to show its age here and there, it has a distinctive character to it that sets it apart from other five-star resorts of more recent construction. Its architecture, gardens, location and sports facilities are of a very high standard indeed. Best of all, here you really feel that you are in India (in an entirely positive sense). Staff members are welcoming and helpful and some, like Ajit from the restaurant and Abishek from the bar, really went the extra mile to make our time here as pleasant as possible.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional, the location and access to a pristine beach in addition to the proximity to restaurants and shops was perfect for a family traveling with children. The staff are extremely attentive without being overbearing and nothing is too much trouble. Like paradise! Beautiful room with stunning views, attention to detail, fabulous bed and shower. Tea and snacks in the room. Spa was amazing and swimming pool clean and relaxing! I didn’t want to leave!!! Food in the restaurant was outstanding and the staff were super professional. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Do yourself a favour and go here!

The breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always attentive and paid attention to detail. We loved out stay and will definitely go back.
