If you are seeking a quiet, well-served camp in Wadi Rum, without the din of loud music and large groups, this is ideal. Facilities are basic, though much more than one would expect in a desert setting. Mohammed is a gracious, soft-spoken host. He is punctual and organized. in case you’re thinking of a desert tour (2/3/4 hour), Mohammed is a very safe and careful driver. He does not try to show off his off-roading capabilities by tossing his passengers around in the back of the (Toyota Hilux) pick-up truck. He speaks fluent English and is knowledgeable about Bedouin history and customs.

Excellent, excellent! Wonderful location and people. Makes stay in the Wadi Rum desert so memorable. We had 1 full day tour and one half day tour with Fahed who was a wonderful guide. The resort itself consists of 8 individual villas and one common building where food is served. Qualit of food was outstanding. Strongly recommend!

Definitely the best experience in Jordan ! We spent a great night in the camp.. and a beautiful full day tour . Tent was simple, but it is part of the experience . Traditional dinner was great too. Everything perfect.

Nice experience overall, especially during the evening. Dinner was filling and freshly prepared. Breakfast was straightforward and came with tea. Jeep trip took us to some quiet spots with great views. People at the camp were warm without being overwhelming.

My experience at Ahmed Camp was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and great hospitality. The reception was well-organized, and everything went smoothly. Leader Ahmed and his team made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Their kindness and professionalism created a positive atmosphere during the entire stay. The camp was very clean and well-maintained. The tents and facilities were always tidy, and the staff paid great attention to hygiene and organization. The food was delicious, fresh, and served on time, which showed how much effort was put into making the experience enjoyable. The tourist tours organized by Leader Ahmed were one of the best parts of the camp. Each trip was well-planned, exciting, and full of learning. We explored beautiful places, discovered local traditions, and enjoyed breathtaking views. Leader Ahmed was always patient, enthusiastic, and made sure everyone was safe and having fun. Overall, my experience at Ahmed Camp was excellent, and I truly appreciate all the effort made by Leader Ahmed and his team to make it special.
