The Cozy Cottage is in walking distance to the bus junction which is useful for trips to the places nearby (e.g. Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya). The room was clean, spatious, had a fan and a mosquito net. Plug points were near the bed. The hosts were very helpful and kind. They made sure that everything was to our convenience. The local dinner they served is was excellent. Even on short notice they prepared a delicious meal. For our day trips they gave us breakfast to go - we appreciated it very much!

Sky Forest Lovely hotel in the forest, away from the noise of the highway. We had a lovely big room on stilts, overlooking the forest. Lots of birds, lots of privacy, super balcony to watch nature passing by. People are friendly, helpful and speak good English. The help in any way they can and organize walks in the vicinity. Meals are excellent.

A fabulous hotel, the staff were exceptional and the swimming pool was out of this world. A wonderful setting with amazing bird life and beautiful landscaped gardens. one of the best places me and my wife have ever stayed in. the staff were very friendly and welcoming. the rooms are very big in size. the place is very well built and new. value for money was excellent. it's the perfect place to stop by whilst visiting the local attractions of Lions Rock etc. Each room is in fact a separate standalone cabin built on a platform above the ground making it feel like you are in the forest alone, and the sounds of the forest surround you, simply beautiful. the photos don't do it justice

Our stay at Roo Mansala was truly exceptional and we loved every part of it :) The accommodation is located in between of Lion Rock and Pidurangala right inside the forest within a lush green environment and you can see both of the rocks from your room. Roo Mansala is an amazing place to relax and calm down. The pool and garden of the villas is perfectly clean and neat and you can just enjoy and rest from the day tours there, have a cold drink and listen to the birds flying around. Last but not least, the food was also extraordinary. everything is freshly prepared and from local produce and tastes amazing. The prices are great value. We want to thank the whole team for their great job and the warm welcome at the property!!! We would love to come back one day.

We stay there 3 nights and it was amazing experience. All the staff was very kind, always taking care of all the details, it was our honeymoon and they give us a cake for dessert on our first meal. Our flight arrived in the middle of the night and we arrived at the hotel at 5:00AM and they prepare our room and allow us to do the check in earlier. It was super comfortable. All the team are incredible. We recommend Aliya Resort without any doubt. Thank you for all, team. Xenia and Ricard.
