Very calm and quite place. Very friendly staff. The rooms have a very exotic look are comfortable, clean and well equipped, there's a small swimming pool. The location convenient very close to the beach, there are no problems with mosquitoes. The manager a very good professional, particularly attentive to all wishes and requests, thanks again.

The owner/workers are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a good location, less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was spacious and clean with working ac and a great balcony. Oir kids loved the swimming pool!

I booked this property for my last day in Sri Lanka as it was close to the airport and the beach. I didn't expect it to be as amazing as it was and I'm not sure that I'll be able to adequately describe what a little paradise this property is. The property is built around a canal and multiple buildings with private rooms of all sizes, several pools, lounge and dining areas, billiards, reading room with tons of books in all languages to choose from, a couple of intimate bar areas and a breezy terrace that was comfortable even at the hottest times of the day. The canal had some kayaks available and there were also some bikes for the guests. Meal options were limited, but everything was delicious. My room was large and comfortable with a pool just outside the door. There is also a workshop onsite for local women to learn handicrafts in order to supplement their income. Some of the crafts were sold in a small shop next to the reception.

    We spent our last day and night at Wallawwa. It was an overall luxury and perfect to unwind after our travels. They have complimentary tea time and a happy hour, the pool area is gorgeous, everyone was helpful and kind. I wished we stayed for another night, it was a peaceful bliss!

    Booking.com said it’s a five star which it is not. There was a party at the lawn with blaring music. The staff was though passionate to listen to the concern but not much they can do.
