Penneshaw
Located in Penneshaw, 29 km from Christmas Cove Marina, CABN Kangaroo Island provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has sea views, and guests can enjoy access to a sauna. Each room includes a balcony. CABN is a very special place! We absolutely loved our two-night stay. The location is quiet and a bit remote, which we loved. There are only five or six cabins on the property, and they are very spread out, so you have a lot of privacy. The views are amazing, the wildlife plentiful, and the cabin is very well thought out with lovely touches. We made sure to come back to the cabin well before sunset after exploring the amazing island, just to make sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the cabin, the surroundings, and once the sun started getting lower on the horizon, take in the views from the deck with the many kangaroos and wallabies who came right around the cabin. We also absolutely loved having the sauna with the picture window, and used it both nights. And, the night sky is truly amazing with absolutely no light pollution. All in all, a very special and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

The property was well striated with river views which afforded the most brilliant moon vistas. Comfortable, well-appointed with everything we needed. The beds were really cosy, warm with good mattresses. A short walk took us up to the dining area for a superb breakfast via the friendly house dog with whom I had some good play. He was quite lovely!

Comfortable and well positioned room in the facility. The wonderful owners could not have been more helpful. They organised for us to charge the EV overnight given the island is still coming up to speed for the EV world. The degustation local seafood meal was absolutely superb and the breakfasts were fantastic.

Lovely location 2 bedroom penthouse, clean and tidy, fabulous views, good to have 2 bathrooms with two couple's. Short walk to Italian restaurant and well stocked supermarket .Very comfy large beds. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Gorgeous toiletries, bought some to take home.

Breakfast was great, you can also request others, the fruits are fresh, cappuccino, latte and other types of coffee Is excellent 👌🏼 Dhea makes excellent coffees And we can’t wait for Their restaurant to open as Mr. Nicholas is superb 👨🍳 chef. You could feel the joy of giving in every little detail. The property was very clean, kitchen well equipped, bed’s comfortable and there was a sense of kindness everywhere, starting with the warm welcome and sourdough, continued with little jams and a variety of cornflakes that made my boy think he is in a 5 star resort, and all the way to the choice of soup ( smells amazing), everything felt generous and thoughtful.
