We had an amazing stay. Everything was superlative, from staff, to decoration, nature, activities and cocktails! It was perfect for a romantic get away. Beware though, if you are light or noise sensitive (there is a river flowing by and no blackout curtains)

Our room with the outdoor shower was so clean and calm and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful. Juliet is a fantastic host and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was 10/10 and we hope to return some day.

Great experience! Lovely place - jungle feeling, friendly staff, great food, good vibes. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Offering a beautiful tropical forest setting, Le Cameleon Hotel is a walking distance from Cocles beach in Puerto Viejo. This luxurious resort features a beach club, an outdoor swimming pool and a... Look no further, book this place - we had the best stay! Firstly, it is the best location, short drive to Puerto Viejo but also walking distance of plenty of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby, you can even walk to the Jaguar Rescue. It feels like you're right in the jungle, the landscaping around the hotel is done so well, with the boardwalks through the trees, so all rooms feel really private and quiet and there is wildlife including sloths right amongst the trees in the hotel! Breakfast was great, and in the best spot looking right at the beach. The pools were lovely (we found three during our stay) and all the beach loungers etc. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and nice. DO NOT MISS the morning wildlife walk with the Jungle Man!! We saw eleven sloths in one hour as well as toucans, monkeys and much more! That guy is a legend.
