It is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic view on the lake and the volcanoes. What amazing hotel. This was my second time in Atitlan and last time I made the mistake of staying in a larger village. This time I chose a smaller village and Aviva hotel, and it was the perfect choice. The room was incredible, comfy bed, stunning views, tasty coffee and a terrace to relax. And the breakfast was sooo good. Run, don't walk to stay here if you visit lake atitlan.

This place is SO gorgeous. The views from the restaurant and the patio were amazing and what a place to relax with a drink/ cup of tea and a book, in a hammock. I didn’t want to leave! The yoga was really good, the family dinners such a nice easy way to socialise. The volunteers were all really friendly. Nice social activities. Easy to get to and around the lake.

The most amazing hotel. From the staff, to the grounds, to the food and the service, this hotel was the most wonderful place. My fiancée asked me to marry him there and there genuinely would not have been a more special surrounding. Astrid was also amazing as were all the staff we interacted with. Very friendly staff! Allowed us to check out late and leave our luggage whilst we explored. We then missed our boat to Panajachel and they let us stay an extra night with no hassle. Very comfy mattress, good wifi and super clean
