Botania Relais & Spa - The Leading Hotels of the World is 500 metres outside Lacco Ameno, near Ischia’s San Montano Bay and the Negombo thermal spa, easily reached by a footpath. Rooms are located in Mediterranean villas. The entire team at Botania went truly above and beyond during our stay. We felt SO welcomed, cherished and cared for. The room was beautiful, comfortable and we were given a complimentary upgrade. The grounds, restaurants and pools were spectacular. Especially the staff, they were truly so engaging, authentic and incredibly friendly. We LOVED the Yoga classes in the morning with Luisa, she adapted the class to our needs and truly helped make the stay even that much for relaxing and wonderful.

This 5-star hotel is around a 10-minute walk from Castello Aragonese and 150 metres from the lively Corso Vittorio Colonna main street. The property is a 10-minute drive from the ferry harbour of Ischia. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was beyond attentive and so helpful in making sure we had anything we needed. The grounds are beautiful, the spa gorgeous, clean and rejuvenating. Breakfast was superb as was dinner. It was not far from the castle and downtown shops, but secluded enough to give you a private Oasis. This place was so fabulous we had to force ourselves to go site-seeing. Just book it! You will be happy that you did.

Il Moresco is framed by a high lava-stone wall and a centuries-old park with pine trees, gardens and thermal-water pools. There is also an indoor wellness centre, parking is free.

All rooms of Il Moresco Grand Hotel are air-conditioned and come with free Wi-Fi and slippers and bathrobe. Some rooms offer sea views across the Gulf of Naples. Everything was amazing! Simple as that. Pietro and team were phenomenal.

San Montano Resort & SPA features a natural sauna,11 out-door thermal pools, an in-door pool, a wellness centre, gyms, a garden and free WiFi.

All the rooms and suites at the San Montano Resort & SPA feature a TV and en-suite bathroom with slippers and free toiletries. All rooms have a balcony or a terrace, and some offer sea views. I appreciated the thermal pools, the stunning views, the quiet spa, the friendly stuff, the tasty food.. a combination that made it difficult to leave the place and visit the island. I am especially thankful to Giovanni, the physiotherapist/osteopath, who with his good understanding of the human body, managed to solve in 4 sessions of massages and manipulations some long lasting back and posture problems other therapists could not help me with. All in all an excellent, relaxing, rejuvenating stay I would love to repeat.

Rooms at Regina Isabella-Resort Spa Restaurant are furnished in a typical Mediterranean style, some with antique furniture. Each room has internet access, and a private balcony, with views of the garden or of the sea.

The Michelin-starred restaurant, Indaco, serves delicious cuisine of the Campania region and international recipes. There is live music in the cocktail bar every evening. Amazing location, the beach is amazing and the stuff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is incredible :)

The wellness centre at the Manzi Hotel & Spa extends over 1600 m² and is built on the grounds of an antique thermal spa. The wellness centre is for adults only and a babysitting service is available on request. Hotel was lovely, room was clean and very comfortable. I liked the spa area and the gym as well. Breakfast was little bit limited but you were able to order for example omelette and other products from the kitchen. Staff was very welcoming and also when leaving early in the morning, they were waiting at the door and organised my travel to the airport.

The hotel's spa and wellness centre offers a range of treatments using the island's thermal waters. Guests can enjoy a luxurious massage in one of the outdoor gazebos.

The poolside restaurant has stunning sea views and a roof made of palm tree leaves, and the main restaurant is adjacent to the tower. The buffet breakfast of homemade bread and pastries is served on the terrace. Everything is perfect. Great place, amazing rooms, the best staff, delicious food.

Mare Blu Terme is in Ischia's old town, overlooking the Aragonese Castle and 200 metres from the main shopping street. The hotel features its own thermal baths and wellness centre. The rooftop terrace is equipped with free sun loungers, parasols and deckchairs. The hotel and room was wonderful. Very nice relax area. The location was great. Island Ischia is amazing! I'm sure I come back for longer..

Set in Ischia, within 70 metres of Spiaggia dei Pescatori and less than 1 km of Aragonese Castle, Miramare E Castello offers a bar. Featuring a shared lounge, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with a sauna, and hot tub, as well as a restaurant. Location and view excellent, we decided to rent a car and they had an available car park for 12 euro a day. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety! Staff kind friendly and attentive!

Miramare Sea Resort & Spa is set in a pedestrian-only area of Sant'Angelo, on the south coast of Ischia. Directly facing its private beach, it offers Mediterranean-style rooms with a sea-view balcony. Breakfast is buffet style. Everything was exceptional about our stay at Miramare - from the friendliness of the staff, the tastiness of the food, the cleanliness of the rooms and all the amenities... The destination is a bit tricky to get to but honestly worth all the trouble for that location and the experience.
