Villa Athena, a modern 5-star hotel, is located within Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features a wellness centre, an outdoor pool, and both free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. The venue has a private access to Valle dei Templi leading through the magnificent area of olive trees and green hills. Room and bathroom was well equipped (Dyson hair dryer, Ortigia cosmetics). Staff is wonderful. We had a lovely time.

The on-site restaurant is open for dinner and offers a blend of Mediterranean and European cuisine. Great historic hotel within walking distance of all of Palermo attractions! The front desk, concierge and everyone that work there were so friendly and helpful!

Perfect location and very friendly staff (great food too!)

With a bar, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. A spa and wellness centre comprising a sauna, an indoor pool, a hot tub, as well as a terrace can be used by all guests. Everything!!! Great comfortable rooms, quiet surroundings and excellent facilities. The pools are great. Beach was fantastic though it was a walk or golf cart to beach. Excellent food!

Located a 3-minute drive from the Mediterranean coast, Wellness Spa Hotel Principe Fitalia is set in Fanusa and features a restaurant, fitness centre and two swimming pools.

Offering free WiFi, all air-conditioned rooms come with a satellite flat-screen TV and a private bathroom complete with a bathrobe and slippers. Some units have a spa bath or balcony. It's appreciated that they upgraded our room, which was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast is truly excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, as well as freshly made vegetable and fruit juices. They also offer a shuttle bus to the city center, though I didn’t have a chance to use it. A highly enjoyable stay!

Overlooking Juno’s Temple, the sea and either the pool or the garden, uniquely decorated rooms and studios come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some room come with a private pool. Nice and clean hotel with good facilities.

Set at an altitued of 500 metres above the sea level, at the foot of Mount Etna, Monaci delle Terre Nere is 2 km outside the town of Zafferana Etnea. A former winery surrounded by the greenery and vineywards, it offers free Wi-Fi and parking. One of my favourite places in Sicily! Excellent rooms with lovely views, great organic breakfast and very friendly staff! Especially appreciated their experiences. Can't wait to come back!

This 5-star deluxe hotel with large gardens and an outdoor swimming pool was designed by the famous architect C.R. Ashbee, early member of the Arts and Craft movement. The hotel features a bar and a tea room. It was amazing! The hotel is fabulous, within walking distance from the center of Taormina. The surroundings are beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the bed sheets simply the best! You must try St. George Restaurant by Heinz Beck, the only 2-Michelin-starred restaurant in Taormina! What an experience! Each dish was carefully created and the flavors were just wow! And the staff — the staff makes it all! Thank you to all the personnel for the care you offer to each guest, for the smiles, and for your professionalism. Diana, you have my heart! Thank you for making our 10th wedding anniversary an unforgettable experience!

Grand Hotel San Pietro Taormina features an outdoor pool and sun terrace, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Taormina's historical centre is a 15-minute walk away.

Rooms at the San Pietro are spacious and have flat screen TVs with satellite channels. All have views of the garden or the sea. Perfect location, friendly staff, lovely complimentary mini bar, pool with the great view. Breakfast is out of this world. Honestly everything was perfect ;)
