I have rarely been welcomed so warmly in a hotel; you immediately feel at home. The scenery around the hotel is breathtaking and the staff is even more professional and courteous. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which tasted very good! Demmi was also very accommodating, read every wish, really crazy. Our esteemed Chamma drove us from the hotel to Trincomalee, a real guide who has Sri Lanka in his blood, he knows so much about this country and is very accommodating. We have already booked a second trip with him. Sri Lanka and this hotel is a dream.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, from the comfortable accommodations to the beautiful surroundings. A fantastic set up not just encouraging but utilising sustainable procedure whenever possible. The local village are very much an active part of the project actively employed across all areas of the business from hospitality to farming to upkeep of the property. The lodges were great offering functional luxury. I loved the solar powered out door shower.
The staff were wonderful. The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly. The staff in the dining room were also very friendly and helpful with excellent service. Excellent food by the chefs, great breakfast and dinner selections. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view towards the lake was beautiful. We took a swim in the beautiful pool overlooking the grounds and the lake.
