He was extremely kind and courteous. We were ushered to very inviting reception area/lounge where we were offered a nice cold cup of tea, and we went through the facilities of the hotel. Shortly after we checked in, we were invited also to join the happy hour in the library area with an array of wines and cocktails, as well as beautiful canapés. Overall, we were given tips about dining and other whereabouts in Auckland. The morning of the checkout another member of staff Marianna, was extremely accommodating when we explained to her that our flight was delayed and we would like to check out slightly later. overall the impression is that everyone in the hotel is there to make you feel welcome comfortable, and to assist you in every possible way
