The hotel staff (especially Jainesha -I hope I spelled her name correctly!) were very nice and professional. I got a massage at the hotel and it was a very good experience too. This boutique hotel is truly beautiful — the entire property is stunning. We stayed in a duplex room with a gorgeous view, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. The breakfast was also exceptional — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

The air-conditioned suites of Grootbos feature floor-to-ceiling windows, making the suites light and airy. All suites offer a spacious lounge with a cosy fireplace, satellite TV and a DVD player, and a private wooden deck. Incredible views and amazing design. The cottage was very well thought out with a living room, separate bedroom, and connecting outdoor space. Facilities were very thoughtful — outlets everywhere, functional bathroom, etc. Food was very good.
