Lovely room, in a great English Bar with very friendly and helpful staff. Location was absolutely perfect being so close to the Bus Station with busses going to ALL Tourist attractions. Also close to plenty of shops and foods and bars but I didn't need to as the food and drink is great right there.

This is the perfect country pub. It is stylish and clean and the food is excellent, but it is not in the slightest pretentious or ‘gastro’. We ate a delicious dinner, stayed in an extremely comfortable, well decorated and well maintained, family room and ate a hearty, gourmet standard, breakfast featuring local produce. The rate for the room and breakfast was so reasonable it seemed wrong not to be paying more. Best of all, the staff were unusually friendly, welcoming and good with our three, often boisterous, children. They even rang us ahead of our arrival to warn that there was a party being held in the pub the evening of our arrival and letting us know that it might be noisy (which it was not!). I could not recommend this hotel and restaurant more highly.

We had a very pleasant stay. The en-suite room was spotlessly clean and the included breakfast was amazing. The house is located in a qiuiet area near the city centre, with a park next door and incredible gardens in the property. Jonathan and Mellisa were exceptionally kind and made our trip truly special. Perfect, spotless, excellent furnishings, well fitted property. Lovely garden, great location and Off street parking. 2 mins from the ferry. Close to shops, restaurants, the chain ferry and beautiful sea front walk. Had slight problem with the heating on arrival, caretaker came straight out, very friendly and helpful, reset the heating ‘hive’ control and left us with a lovely warm property.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is great. Breakfast was terrific. We visited the restaurant every evening and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and very tasty food. We even joined in with the PubQuiz on Monday evening. Wonderful location right on the beach. . Easy parking. We will definitely be returning.
