It was very unique experience. This very charming traditional Japanese ryokan is within short distance from the train (or bus) station. Everything was clean and well organised there. We spent really very relaxing enjoyable moments there. It feels all very authentic (including delicious Japanese dining) and the stuff is also very friendly and welcoming. 100% worth it!

The hotel itself was traditional Japanese style, the futons were comfortable and the staff was kind and and helpful. The Onsen is amazing and the sake bar was a very nice touch to complete a great stay

The onsen and all facilities are great. The food is very good, as the hotel offers traditional japanese breakfast and dinner. The hotel offers transfers to the station, monkey park and ski resort which are useful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very good value for money hotel. Our room on the 15th floor (highest floor for guest rooms) had great views of the surrounding mountains. It was worth the upgrade. All facilities were great and room and bed size was very good for a couple. Thank you for a great stay.

Loved our stay at Hotel Metropolitan Nagano. Perfect location with everything at walking distance. Staff were really friendly. They even helped us with our baggage transfer to the next hotel. Would recommend them to anyone visiting Nagano.

This hotel is absolutely perfect, very spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, located near sightseeing spots and offers a shuttle service for those who do not want to walk.

The host is very active. We rented a car and although the facility doesn't have parking lot, the host recommended us a parking spot (with inexpensive fees) which is very close by to the facility. It's also not far from the train station. The room is spacious enough for 4 people. The host responded to the messages very quickly.
