We were in town for a big event, the location is a quick walk, but we could get a good rest without the noise pollution. Also, there are good restaurants nearby. The family that runs the place is also very nice.

Sithun was very attentive and very kind to every request. 100% recommendable if you stay in Ella. He arranges all the services (tuk tuk, food). The best egg hoppers we had tried at Sri Lanka!!

Saranga and his team were the perfect hosts for our five nights stay in Ella. They solved all our little issues (e.g. lack of water pressure) and arranged tours to Yala (safari), to a tea factory and also a shuttle to Negombo at the end of our stay. He even provided is own phone number so we can text or call him when we needed something. The issues some other reviewers wrote with toilet paper (no idea what kind of special problems they had...) or towels are not existent. Just talk to the staff, they will solve everything! Highly recommended also because it is very quite up there but you are either used to walking or use Tuk Tuks to go down to the city since it is quite a steep climb.

Hands down best place I’ve stayed at after travelling to Europe, America, Japan and Sri Lanka. The view is breathtaking and you can go onto the roof for a 360° view. The rooms were spacious with comfy comfy beds, air conditioning and nice bathrooms. The best part was the staff though, particularly the hotel manager Gerry. They were the most accommodating staff I’ve met in my travels. They gave us a free room upgrade, lots of advice about local activities and how we should plan our day depending on weather etc. They also educated us on Sri Lankan culture and sorted us out with an amazing driver called Nemesh that took us all around to local waterfalls, mountains etc who was friendly and spoke great English. I could speak all day about this place. I will be recommending it to all my friends. It is truely the best place I’ve ever stayed and value for money is amazing.
