The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. Washer and dryer in the unit were great. All recreational amenities were readily available. The property was beautifully appointed, and Cole was most helpful with our excursion planning.

The modern apartments have a kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Each apartment has a spacious living area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Laundry facilities and covered parking are also provided. Great location. Sonya and Robin were the best hosts.

This is the perfect location to venture out and explore the Great Barrier Reef. The hotel is right on the doorstep of the World Heritage rainforests of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Really lovely well equipped townhouse, lots of space, gorgeous pool, close to beach and port Douglas. So good we stayed an extra few nights. Loved that we could use the bbq too. Staff are also lovely.
