Very good location close to the market, the bus stop, the stores and the restaurants. The staff is super helpful and kind. The breakfast comes with a lot of fresh fruit, eggs, avocadoes! Very nice service at a very reasonable price. I would choose it again when staying in Santa Marta.

The offered fresh water at the bar and we were thrilled to find a hotel that cares about the environment, instead of making extra money on plastic bottles. We LOVED the small river that passes below the hotel and we sat in the river for hours. At the end of our stay, we were approached to ask about any details small or large that could be improved at the hotel. This was so smart -- they are able to resolve small issues quickly and that is why the hotel works very well.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar with a terrace. Very nice location on top of the mountains. It takes a little courage to get to the property (by motor or jeep taxi) but the view is absolutely worth it. Once you get to the property there are plenty of organised (paid) activities in which you can participate which are very well arranged. Very friendly, English speaking, staff.

Situated in El Zaino, 500 metres from Castilletes Beach, Zirwa Hotel Boutique - Dentro del Parque Tayrona features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has mountain views and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 35 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

The property is allergy-free and is situated a few steps from Guachaca Beach. The location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The hotel features family rooms. This hotel is beautiful. Set on a farm in the lush greenery, close to the river. I enjoyed walking to the river to kayak and swim. You can easily get to the beach too. We saw toucans and so many beautiful birds just sitting by the pool. It is relaxing and feels like a luxury home. Loved it!
