This historic 4-star hotel, situated in the heart of the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, right in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park, offers enchanting accommodation in a Gothic style. The hotel is clean and modern with lovely touches like fresh roses in the bedroom and bath room. Free water, beer, coke and Prosecco are provided in the room. The couple running the hotel provide an excellent service giving recommendations on where to visit, where to eat and they will make a reservation for you too. They were so friendly and kind. The hotel is very close to all the sights. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is so clean, modern and comfortable. It had all the facilities you would need and ideal for a family stay ranging in ages 7-70! It’s within walking distance of the town centre and parking right outside.

Το Mittermeiers Alter Ego βρίσκεται σε κεντρική αλλά ήσυχη τοποθεσία στο Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The hotel is located 1 min walk from one the main gates to the old town. The room was very modern and stylish, beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Staying in the first week of June 2025 at Hotel Herrnschlösschen for 2 and a half days was an amazing experience for my wife and I and our 17 year old son, we were happy to see the expectations that we had while selecting the hotel, were not only met but exceeded. Hotel Herrnschlösschen is located in the centre of the old town with walking distance to all areas to see with quaint shops and many good restaurants in the old town of Rothenburg. Phillip welcomed us and checked us inn who also manages the hotel chic restaurant and helped take all our luggage upstairs. phillip had a very likeable personality and knows hospitality. We booked the Senior Suite and were allocated Suite No 7 on the third floor (made like a duplex suite with one bed up the stairs within the suite. This suite is on the 3rd floor and was beautifully decorated and comfortable and with an excellent layout and Shower / bathroom and all amenities. It has a French balcony which is above the front entrance of the hotel and as having a proper seated balcony was one of our requirements, we were given the option to move to the 1st floor Suite No 3 similar type suite which became available the next day which we found better for us as it has a balcony over looking the beautiful garden and a rear garden view and the bathroom and shower are separate with a bath and and stand in shower as well. The ‘GARDEN’ was the highlight for us as we spent hours in the morning and late evenings enjoying the weather and the serene environment the Owner / Hotel Managemnet have created for guests. Even though it was really 02 nights but the place does have an impactful aura as you feel part of a different time. Another great experience happening in the old town was the draught festival that was going on for the two nights we were there with people dressed up in costumes and performing different types of acts that were uniquely pleasing to see.
