Very elegant hotel in a refined and Scandinavian style as we like. Good location on the ring road. We recommend the restaurant which is delicious. You almost eat under the stars in a desert and magical landscape. You could almost imagine yourself in a car advertising. The young staff was lovely both at the reception and at the restaurant. Ending the stay with splendid breakfast.

Comfortable hotel on the waterfront in Hofn. The location is excellent overlooking the harbour and walking distance to restaurants, the swimming centre and the supermarket. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely presented. The coffee machine and L’Occitane products in the bathroom were a high quality addition. The service was excellent. There is no lift and our suitcases were carried upstairs by hotel staff.

Loved everything about this excellent accommodation. Beautifully presented, modern fitout and furnishings with every item you could possibly want on hand. The perfect location to base yourself to explore the natural beauty of the region. The view from suite 1 was truly breathtaking. A huge thank you to Regina and her family for a wonderfully relaxing and very enjoyable stay.

Gorgeous location with views of the mountains and glaciers. Very well appointed accommodation, comfortable and modern but with a cosy feel.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in their sister hotel (4 stars) in Reykjavik and the five of us preferred the one in Höfn. The breakfast is not extremely big in variation but high-quality products. Apparently, they try to do a lot by themselves or source locally.

The guesthouse is recently renovated, both kitchen and bathroom were super modern an spacious. We shared a bathroom with only one other room, and never encountered the other guests. Host was very kind upon arrival even though we were a bit early. Nice location as well, close to a supermarket and well situated for an evening walk along the harbour.

For such a remote location, the guesthouse was fresh, ultra-modern and stylish. HUGE bathroom, the size of a bedroom (maybe disability-accessible?) but very chic. Beautiful outlook in all directions, to farmlands, mountains/ glacier. Breakfast was outstanding with many varied choices and staff continually refreshing the plates. Great value all round. Excellent stay, would happily stay again
