Our stay at Villa Lina was the highlight of our two week adventure in Italy. The Villa is magical. We could not believe we were staying in such a beautiful place which has been lovingly restored and furnished by Lina (who has great taste!). We booked the triple room and had an incredible view of the lake. Our room was also bright, airy, and just so charming. Lina and Alessandro are incredibly warm and welcoming, and make you feel at home. We were only staying for one day/one night so Lina gave us recommendations on the best way to maximize our time so we saw all the best things. We had a lovely homemade breakfast in the morning on the patio, overlooking the lake. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

Everything was awesome and Giorgio and Riccardo were outstanding making sure every need was addressed. Super modern new construction with smart rooms that were designed impeccably. We had a lake view that was breathtaking, and our bed faced the lake. It is hard to take your eyes off of the view.

I would especially like to mention the young lady at the reception, both upon our arrival and at departure — she is truly the epitome of courtesy.

Owned by 4 generations of women since 1880, Hotel Belvedere offers panoramic views of Lake Como. The private garden has an outdoor swimming pool. Parking is free. The view from both our room and the restaurant was fantastic. The staff were very accomidable and had great advice about Bellagio. They helped us make reservations for hotel and book a boat trip. We enjoyed the free breakfast, which had plenty of sweet and savory options including eggs however you want them, and the free spa!
