I had a wonderful one-night stay at Randor Hotel Hiroshima Prestige. The family room was surprisingly spacious, well above the average room size in Japan. The bathroom was also exceptionally large and came equipped with a full range of amenities — the most complete set I encountered during my trip across Japan. Conveniently, the hotel is located within walking distance of Hiroshima Station. The check-in and check-out process at the hotel is streamlined and efficient. Instead of traditional key cards, the hotel uses a PIN number system for room access. You can easily check in using a machine, and for check-out, you simply leave a piece of paper at the reception desk, which is especially convenient as no staff interaction is required before 9 AM.

A lovely, modern hotel with relatively large rooms, every amenity you could want, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful onsen and restaurant complex next door. Just across the street from the train station and a very short walk catty-corner to the ferry terminals. The staff was terrific, both in the hotel and restaurant, and did everything possible to make us feel like honored guests. An extra touch was free coffee/tea/snacks/ice cream and as much bottled water as we wanted. One of our favorite hotels on our 3-month trip.

Authentic Japanese cuisine featuring fresh seafood is served at restaurant Shioji in a stylish contemporary setting, and the traditional Japanese-style saloon. There is a free coffee lounge on the front lobby floor. Really close to the main attractions on Miyajima Island. Room was big and spaceous. Room was really clean. We even got transport from hotel to farry port so we could catch our farry early in the morning
