Authentic Japanese cuisine featuring fresh seafood is served at restaurant Shioji in a stylish contemporary setting, and the traditional Japanese-style saloon. There is a free coffee lounge on the front lobby floor. The hotel was amazing, as were the staff. The room was beyond belief in how nice it was and the outdoor bath was a treat that we will never forget. We got access to a private lounge with the room which provided nice snacks and beverages. The extra amenities in the hotel like the onsen and garden were amazing free additions. We got a Japanese style breakfast served in our room for free, and the staff gave me and my fiancée a small gift when they found out about our engagement

This stay was perfect for Miyajima. The onsen in particular was delight. Amazing bath products !

The staff was very welcoming and friendly; they will make your stay special. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel Miyu Rikyu is perfectly situated along the waterfront just a few steps from Miyajima Ferry. We had a sea view room and could see the Otori Gate from our window. The setting and room were very. beautiful, Sleeping on the traditional futons on tatami mats was comfortable, and the set 12 course menu was delicious (though could be challenging for picky eaters). Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. Note that we were the only foreigners during our stay and the staff does speak English but it is a much more traditional Ryokan. On site onsen (public bath) was very nice with a small view out to the sea from the top floor.
