The staff were welcoming and super helpful. We needed to send our bags to Hagi by takkyubin and they were very helpful getting this to happen. Thank you. The meals were all outstanding. 13 dishes for dinner and healthy, fresh, tasty and fun. Don't forget to look around their beautiful gardens.

This is a very traditional and even historic "hotel". We booked a corner suite which was honestly Japan fabulous. Overlooking the exquisite gardens and with anything one might want, although very traditionally Japanese. The stone tub private onsen was excellent. We arrived in the midst of a late heat wave and the a/c worked well, even in the "traditional" part of the lodging. Breakfast was served in a private booth and was wonderful. The staff was helpful and attempted to accommodate non-English speakers in our party.

Located in Shimonoseki, Dormy Inn Premium offers affordable rooms with free internet access and hot spring baths. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. One staff member at reception made telephone calls on my behalf to help me confirm travel logistics and a visit for a museum located far since I don’t speak Japanese. I appreciated that very much! The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices and fresh, healthy foods. Excellent staff in the restaurant who make sure you enjoy your breakfast. Location is good, only a 10 minute walk from international ferry terminal. The hot baths and relaxation room with anime books were enjoyable. This is a fantastic hotel with many options to makek your stay very relaxing indeed.

Staff excellent and tried to help with my queries. The female receptionist was brilliant and made calls for me to see studios which was very special. Excellent natural hot spring baths. Loved that they had a family room that could easily fit the five of us. Location was next to convenient stores and izakaya and had ample parking. On the night we showed up later in the evening, the staff had reserved parking stalls for guests and made sure we could still park. Nice local snacks in the room. Onsen was nice.

The food was fresh seafood that was one of the highlights of our trip. Being non Japanese the staff treated us eel helping to explain everything through Google translate.
