Best hostel I've been so far in Brasil! The hostel is so pretty, very cozy and always clean. The beds are comfy and the common areas are well equipped to share good time with guests and volunteers. Kati, the host, is the sweetest, she makes you feel home, shares good tips and tries to involve everyone in group activities. The vibes were great, calm and peaceful during the week and a bit more energetic during the weekend when most of guests arrive. Sao Tome is a magic place and Sumé is where you will find great friends to discover it! Muito obrigada!! ♥️🙏🏽

Basic room close to city centre, but be aware of the pensioners party club next door. Pros: Sabrina the host is very nice and responsive and can provide useful local information. She provided extra blankets for our second night. Room is very basic but clean. Proximity to city centre (2 min walk to the main square). Internet and shower worked well. Competitively priced. Cons: You may not want to stay here Friday, Saturday or Sunday night as the pensioner party club next door plays loud music until late. The room we stayed in had no glass window, just a wooden window shutter which let all the outside noise in unfiltered as well as a draft every time the wind blows (probably ok in the summer but not when it's cold outside).
