We liked quietness, security, calmness. Awesome sunset. All clean and taken care of. No swimming at the beach, but the pool was great and maintained every morning. We really enjoyed staying here and recommend it to other nature loving travellers.

Staff was very friendly, location really close to the gate. They picked us up from the entrance with no extra charge.

Cannot recommend this hostel more highly - the food, the staff, the facilities…I could go on and on - it was like a tropical paradise all to ourselves!

The most amazing place to stay. Right in the middle of the jungle. Karen and her family are super welcoming. I stayed in a tent at the top of the Mirador with the most amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. And the air was so cool and fresh up there - such a welcome relief from the heat of the jungle. And I was surrounded by the sounds and creatures of the jungle: frogs, birds, fireflies at night. Karen's food is delicious and filling. Home made with all local ingredients. Delicious juices. And local fruits afterwards. It is really easy to get to. Just a 45 minute walk from the entrance or a 20,000 cop motorbike. It's an hour and half to walk to Playa Brava and same to Playa Nudista and 10 minutes more to Cabo San Juan. The two different paths to both are close to the hostel so it's a perfect location which to explore different areas. And Karen speaks perfect English. If I didn't have to go meet a friend in Riohacha I would have loved to stay longer. They have links to the Kogis in Tayrona and I would have been very interested to visit them and learn more about their way of life.

This place was truly incredible. Absolutely beautiful environment. Quiet, very few people. Very, very romantic. Helpful staff. Fun boat ride on the way in and out! Absolutely amazing.

The host was the best ever! He did everything he could to keep his guest pleased! Electrics falled out in town but he got a generator and got the hostel back up. Only 5min walk to the entrance of tayrona parc! Our lugage could stay in the hostel for 2 days while we visting the park! Didn't charge anything for it. He is real one!
