Glamping Sites in Nikko

The photos in the listing don't do justice to how beautiful this hostel was - definitely surprised me when I arrived! My room was very cozy and had an amazing view of the river and the mountains. But what I would really recommend most was how their staff Asa and Tosh (I hope I spelt their names right!) were the just so accommodating. I just have to give my highest commendations at how they went above and beyond their service. I arrived late in the afternoon, solo traveling with a 20kg luggage in tow. Tired from the travel, I asked if there was any katsudon place nearby. The nearest one a station away, or a few minutes' car drive. Both options were not doable for me. However, Asa offered to check if the restaurant could deliver to the hostel. And so 30 minutes later, this piping hot bowl of katsudon was delivered to the hostel. They have no idea what obstacles I went thru that day just traveling from train to train, and this kind gesture really warmed this weary traveler's heart. Thank you for such a wonderful, wonderful experience in your beautiful hostel! I will definitely be back!
