Close to the park entrance (15-20 min walk) but still a bit outside the busy area so it was quiet (but close to the mini van drop off).

Unique gorgeous beautiful location like from “Avatar” or “Lord of the rings” movies near the river, very quiet area, friendly attentive stuff, simple and nice western breakfast every morning, tents are smaller than you feel from main photo, but it’s still fine and comfortable for 1-2 person.

Wow!! I wish I could give this experience more than a 10/10. It was easily one of the best places I stayed in Thailand, including 5 star hotels in Bangkok and Krabi. The Japanese-style entryway is beautiful, as are the tents and the views. The tents were set up beyond my expectations with great AC, electricity, snacks and toiletries. There is food available for order as well, which I recommend. The breakfast included was one of the best breakfasts I've had -- fluffy french toast, fresh fruit, and yogurt. Delicious and healthy!

Staff were extremely friendly, tents really comfortable and it really felt like you were in the middle of the jungle. The place is really new so not many reviews yet but I'd definitely recommend staying if you want a peaceful stay.

Absolutely amazed by Khaosok August Freedom Camp! Surprised by the wild charm with monkeys around, the enchanting river, and the mesmerizing bonfire under the jungle sounds. A truly lovely place to unwind; the tent locations were amazing, clean, and tidy. Perfect for a chill-out retreat surrounded by nature's symphony. 🏕️🐒

We stayed in the river View bungalow which was amazing...lovely view over the river....staff very friendly and helpful, food was delicious, everything was great value for money, able to watch monkeys and otters playing and swimming in the river, river was clean and nice to swim in the deeper sections near the camp, staff arranged scooter hire as well as a trip to Cheow Lan lake, wish we could have stayed longer. Cold shower in the bathroom added to the jungle feel and was very refreshing!

The entire family was extremely nice and kind to me. I mistakenly made a reservation for the wrong day, but they were able to find me an accommodation anyway. I had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The place and the activities were wonderful
