The location is perfect. Many rooms have their own terrace at the beach. They bring food and drinks there if you like. Place is very beautiful and details are well thought. Amazing to fall asleep listening the waves. Definitely would go there again! Perfect place to relax!

I’m writing this for the benefit of those who are thinking about booking and reading posts that seem to comment without understanding what Wachakyta is about. It scored 10 because the whole experience was brilliant. Where else in the world can you spend the night on a deserted beach, with a chef, a bar, unlimited water, coffee tea etc etc? There is also free wifi (which didn’t always work when you were away from the main area). But you have to realise you are in a beach hut. You’ll get critters, wind, the sound of the sea and everything nature has. Sure, you’ll also have a comfortable bed, good quality sheets (and a mozzie net) so it’s not without some creature comforts. The prices charged for food and drink were perfectly fine given everything (including you!!) has to be delivered by boat. And the food is cooked to order… they will come to find you about two hours before lunch or dinner and you make your selection and choose the time. The boat, by the way, is a separate business but you’ll get details on how to book and as someone who speaks only a little Spanish, the whole process was done by what’s app. They picked us up at 4.20 on the Wednesday exactly as promised. And that, my friends, is our summary. This is a get away from the world place. Enjoy nature, wildlife, the sun, the stars and escape.

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning glamping. The location is perfect for couples, private, exclusive, and surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Sierra Nevada. The best part was being right next to a beautiful river. The tent was beautiful, with a spacious, luxurious bed. Every detail was so thoughtfully designed, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and comfortable. This place is ideal if you’re looking for a romantic getaway where you can disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature together. We can’t recommend it enough.

The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. The tent has garden views. The unit has 1 bed. Very friendly staff, especially the man and woman who work reception during the day and the young, always smiling woman at the restaurant. Hammock huts came with ceiling fans, lockers and cellphone chargers – fancy. Restaurant food was pricy as you’d expect but good. Beaches are a 10-15-minute walk away

The tent's kitchen, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. Beautiful little eco hotel. They have beautiful gardens filled with flowers and fruit trees. The hostel has a well equipped kitchen and a cool outdoor bar/hangout area with a billiards table. The hostel is steps away from a gorgeous and super warm river to swim in to cool off. Only a 5 minute walk to the entrance of Tayrona. Everything was kept very clean

This tent features a balcony with views of the sea, a private bathroom, a fan a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a shower. Free toiletries are included. The location cannot be better. Roberto gave us excellent service at all times. Beautiful surroundings. Clean rooms. All good.

Featuring free toiletries, this tent includes a shared bathroom with a shower. The tent has a terrace with outdoor furniture and garden views where you can relax. The unit has 1 bed. We get to the glamping on time for our Check in to find out there was not space available for us to stay, so we have to start looking for a new place to stay. Also,this place doesn’t look as nice as the pictures. It’s very, very far from the beach, it looks dirty and the owner doesn’t care if you have a Booking reservation confirmed and not having space for you to stay. They don’t give you any solutions. Please, don’t go to this place, there are much better places to stay inside the park than this one.
