It was so peaceful and the spacing between units gave everyone their privacy. Breakfast and dinner was wonderful and they go all out! Look out for the LOTR “moment”, 😍 Rooms were well stocked and the heaters kept us very comfortable on a cold winter night.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 5. The tub on the porch was amazing. Grilling out on our front porch was very fun and the heaters made it nice and warm even in winter. We enjoyed morning yoga, fire pit s'mores and the free drinks and mocktails from the garden kitchen. There is an incredible park within walking distance. So much fun!

The property was the perfect getaway for us on our way to Mt Aso. Located in the mountain it gave us the opportunity to relax completely. Despite the staff not being able to speak much English, we were taken care of in the best way possible.

Featuring free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a bidet. This air-conditioned tent has a barbecue, a sofa as well as outdoor furniture. The unit has 3 beds. Place was amazing! Everything was well thought and prepared for our family of 4 and an infant. The space was also clean and huge for us with good amenities. Dinner and breakfast was good (self bbq and toasting of sandwiches at the patio - which was in fact not that cold with the heater switched on). They also provided little tricycles, scooter and balls for the little one to play with. The road up was a little steep but it wasn't too hard to get to! Thank you for the great stay and helpful communication.

This is a really special experience. The tents are up a winding road and look out to the valley. The meals provided are in a cook-your-own style so you can BBQ while chatting with friends or family. We went during the winter and ended up being the only ones staying there that night and it was really special, quiet and dark. The outdoor private onsen experience was also great for the family as we were able to all get in. We weren't able to see stars at night, but it snowed heavily during the night and the kids could build snowmen and have a snowball fight in the morning.

Tomitaka San is a really friendly and gracious host and made us feel really welcome! All the structures were very beautifully designed and exudes a lot of charm. Although weather was cold, the heating was very good and we felt very comfortable throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simply delicious!

BBQ dinner is splendid with wagu beef, pork, chicken, scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, vege, etc. Learnt to bake a cake using a BBQ stove. Fully equipped with all necessities. Nice but rather busy Onsen facilities as shared with local people.
