We love this place everything it’s amazing if you like nature camping this is the place , perfect location few activities, the staff spoke English made it easy for us , staff very friendly and attentive, our stay included breakfast and dinner and let me tell you was delicious great wine selection as well, I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful this place is, 10 out of 10 indeed. I highly recommend the Grand Verde Resort!!! You won’t regret it

The property was the perfect getaway for us on our way to Mt Aso. Located in the mountain it gave us the opportunity to relax completely. Despite the staff not being able to speak much English, we were taken care of in the best way possible.

Great service especially the guy from Itoshima that checked me in and set up my dinner in one of the tents. Yatei suites is a quiet adult area. The DIY camping area is next door, kids friendly, and has lots of activities. Food & drinks. Had dinner in one of the tents which was a fun & gourmet experience, food is prepared and you just need to grill / heat it up, I don’t even cook instant noodles at home but the equipment here is super easy to use and everything was seasonal and tasty. After dinner activities besides star gazing, includes imbibing of local spirits at the Tabiki tent, and the minibar are stocked with complimentary bottles of wine. We love everything about it. A true glamping experience. Breathtaking view. Amazing food. Excellent service. We had the best time. I forgot an item in the previous hotel, while they didn't have to, they helped me to call the previous hotel and communicate for me in Japanese.

This is a really special experience. The tents are up a winding road and look out to the valley. The meals provided are in a cook-your-own style so you can BBQ while chatting with friends or family. We went during the winter and ended up being the only ones staying there that night and it was really special, quiet and dark. The outdoor private onsen experience was also great for the family as we were able to all get in. We weren't able to see stars at night, but it snowed heavily during the night and the kids could build snowmen and have a snowball fight in the morning.

I absolutely love everything here! The villa is beautiful, stylish, and has such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a quiet getaway. The owner, uncle and aunty were incredibly warm welcoming and took great care of us throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed talking with them and felt so happy and comfortable. Delicious Dinner with campfire experience. Hope we have a chance to visit again 😊🩵

BBQ dinner is splendid with wagu beef, pork, chicken, scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, vege, etc. Learnt to bake a cake using a BBQ stove. Fully equipped with all necessities. Nice but rather busy Onsen facilities as shared with local people.
