The Elewana Tortilis Camp was in a beautiful setting and the staff pulled out all of the stops to make our stay memorable. From the morning coffee/tea and cookies at wake-up to the breakfast in the bush and sundowner on top of a hill with staff Masai teaching us about their culture, the staff outdid themselves. The guide knew exactly how to track the elusive cats so that we were able to see a lioness and her 5 cubs and a cheetah and her 5 cubs. Not to mention the herds of elephants and many giraffes! What an amazing sight! Peris, Chris, Jimma, Ben, Graeme and Sandy, as well as all of the other staff whose names I have sadly forgotten, made for a fantastic safari experience!

This spacious, fully-furnished tent opens onto a wooden patio. It contains a 4-poster bed with a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a claw-foot tub. Loved our time at Kilima - the staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a room upgrade! We were very pleasantly surprised with the food - everything was delicious and super well-seasoned. Chef Edward came out to meet us as well. The location is great, right next to the entrance to the park. Just keep in mind if you come from Nairobi you'll probably have to drive through the park to get to the hotel and consequently pay the entry fee, which is valid for 24h). Chef David's culinary creations are outstanding, Sylvie made us feel truly at home, and Levi was always quick to respond to our questions and arranged an unforgettable safari experience. wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area. It was a unique and memorable stay, and I can't wait to return.

The experience as a whole was great. Great accomodations, our tent is new and had all the things we needed. The staff was very attentive. Location is great, right at the gate of Amboseli Ntl Park, so you don't have to waste time moving for game drives.
