It is a very comfortable place and close to the Masai Mara reserve; takes 15 mins. We are glad we did not waste money on places closer to the reserve. The safe, secure, and gorgeous living space in really comforable tents with electrical connections for chargers was a blend of authenticity and practicality. The campus is very secure. Best of all, Chef Nelson is so efficient and fed us well! Team Felix and guest relations Nelson are awesome in the way they took care of us so well. The nature walk with Simon was so educative about nature and the wildlife around. We even saw a few giraffes! We learned about animals, birds, plants, the people and about coexistance. We enjoyed the warmth of Kambu Mara. The team made our stay a wonderful experience. We could feel the good vibes of team spirit among the staff. We had excellent food, cooked and served by the two Nelsons, always ready to add to our experience. They went out of their way to give us Indian flavours and food. They gave us sumptuous packed lunches. Imagine having hot water to bathe at 5 am before going to the Safari. We recommend Kambu Mara to those who want a homely place to rest and stay while on Safari. I loved the vibe of this place-everything is well thought out and well done. The food exceeded my expectations, as did the space (deck out front of tent with chair/electricity in tent). It's very close to the park-super convenient.

From the moment we arrived we felt safe, welcomed and comfortable. We stayed in Simba which is a tent. It was was very spacious and clean. All the food was really great and they even made some adjustments for my daughter who is a picky eater. There are no t.vs in the room, however they have starlink internet which is super fast. There is a common room which has a t.v and we went and watched the football in their. So close to the entrance for safari.

Sitting on a shady raised platform facing the Talek river, each luxury tent covers approximately 26sqm and is fitted with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds. Amazing location, hospitality, food, game drives, & arrangements. We had our best time on vacation. Will definately be back once more. Thank you Mara Intrepids for making our time so special. Loved every moment of our stay.

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The well-equipped kitchenette has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware. Location is gorgeous with beautiful views into the savanna, with a pond with animals coming to drink. The house is beautifully decorated. The food prepared by the chef was great. Very friendly staff, specially Vincent and Peter.

It was just what we expected and more! From the tents to the views from the tents where we would sleep, the food, and most importantly the staff, everything and everyone were just perfect!
