Deze tent beschikt over een zithoek, een eigen ingang en een eethoek. Our stay at the Yala Wild Hut was amazing! The place was quite easy to find, although it was a few hundred meters off the paved road. Our tent was spacious, comfortable and clean, exactly like it was pictured on Booking.com. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, plus the free coffee/tea was also very nice. We also booked a Yala morning safari through Yala Wild Hut, which we can definitely recommend.

This is a gorgeous place, hidden deep in the lush forested boundary area surrounding Yala National Park. Just to get here is an adventure: you rendezvous with their safari jeep at the end of the paved road, from where you ride with elevated excitement along bumpy dirt tracks through 'the jungle' and rural farmland into the hidden oasis that is Tribe Yala's glamorous tented area. You're looked after by a smiling and humble manager, educated in England, who exudes skillfull customer service with his efficient possy of staff at every turn. The tents are wonderfully large and so comfortable. Showers always hot. Wi-fi always on - in the middle of nowhere! Love it. You're in the wild, so you are always joined by nature here - be they spirited songful birds, skulking monitor lizards, croaking frogs, marching millipedes et al - they all come to say Hi. The evening meals were fabulous - some of the best food I ate in Sri Lanka, and the breakfasts in the treehouse were wonderful. Yala Park was closed at the time of our visit because of storm flooding, so we couldn't do the full safari we had hoped for, but instead the amazing manager proactively arranged for us to visit a fantastic nearby Buddhist Monastery, it's 'twin temples' perched high above the canopy on giant natural rock alters, affording amazing views. The journey there and back was a safari in it's own right: amazing bird life and mammals all around! And because of the storm cancellation, this adventure was provided free of charge. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, we will most surely return to Tribe Yala.

Providing free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a bidet and slippers. We initially thought this booking would be similar to other standard camping sites, but we were delighted to discover that this is genuine mobile camping inside Yala National Park—a truly unique offering. We understand that securing the necessary government permissions is a lengthy process, often requiring at least a week's advance notice. Although we made our reservation just one day prior, the team worked hard to coordinate everything. While this meant we had to wait a few extra hours at the main gate, the effort was absolutely worthwhile, providing an amazing, lifetime experience deep in the wild. We enjoyed a full-day and a half-day safari, and during both excursions, we were lucky enough to consistently spot leopards, elephants, and a wealth of other animals. The entire experience was incredibly rewarding, and we are 100% satisfied with our choice. Thank you to the dedicated team for taking such great care of us during our stay inside the park.

AT ONE - with Nature Glamping Resort is voorzien van een restaurant en accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een terras. Tangalle-strand ligt op 7 minuten lopen. Super fijn gehad! Zelfs een nachtje langer gebleven. Manju heeft me mee op pad genomen om schildpadden te spotten en een night safari gedaan. Ook heeft hij heerlijke vis klaar gemaakt!

This was easily our top stay in Sri Lanka. The host was incredibly hospitable, he spoke great English and overall made our Yala experience so wonderful. Communication was always quick and easy. Also whenever we wanted to go somewhere he offered to take us in his tuk-tuk, which made getting into town easy. The breakfast was exceptional, we got to try lots of different Sri Lankan dishes, fresh fruit, omelets, toast and spreads and fresh mango juice, fresh from their many mango trees on the property. We also got dinner here one night and we were expecting just some curry and rice but we were blown away with the feast that came. Starting with a Sri Lankan soup, then came rice and curry with a whole bunch of other Sri Lankan dishes to try and then we finished off with a Sri Lankan dessert - curd and palm syrup. The room was clean and spacious and nicely decorated. We ended up being upgraded due to being the only guests during those nights. The WiFi worked well in the room, and porch area where we were served breakfast and dinner. We were also here a day after the cyclone had finished and so the national park ended up being closed. However our host was quick to organize another Safari tour just outside the park. This was such a great experience, we saw so many animals and got to go to a local temple / hill view point looking out over the national park. We were so grateful to still be able to do something despite not getting into Yala. Overall if we could rate this stay higher we would. We highly recommend staying here if you are planning on coming to Yala.

This tent features a seating area, barbecue and dining area. Kulu Safaris - All Inclusive ligt in Yala, op minder dan 1 km van Situlpawwa, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en... Fantastic experiences with amazing staff team. I admire their professionalism, especially when paying attention onto the details. Definitely a recommendation to any experienced travelers.
