Deze tent beschikt over een zithoek, een eigen ingang en een eethoek. Wauw! In een paar woorden, dit was het meest fantastische verblijf wat je kan hebben. Roy en zijn team doen er letterlijk alles aan om het jou en je vrienden/familie naar het zin te maken. De accommodatie is ook echt geweldig. Je slaapt in een super grote tent omringt door lantaarns, vuurpotten en pauwen. Het geeft zoveel sfeer, warmte en gezelligheid. We hebben overigens ook super goed gegeten! ‘S avonds kregen we van Roy les over de sterren en vertelde hij over de geschiedenis van Sri Lanka. Mega interessant. Yala wild hut regelde voor ons de safari in Yala National Park en Roy ging mee samen met nog een chauffeur. Het was geweldig. Wij raden deze accommodatie meer dan aan! Groet, Ted en Brittany

We stayed at Tribe Yala for 1 night on December 1st for the start of our honeymoon. The location, the staff and the whole experience were 10/10. Although Sri Lanka had just been hit by the cyclone, the staff were still on hand to ensure we were more than comfortable and made alternative arrangements for our safari as the government had closed Yala. The eagle room was very comfortable and clean, the bed itself was lovely and the pool was much needed after a long day of travelling! It was amazing to see the monkeys in the trees during the day and hearing all of the wildlife around us in the night, it felt very exciting! Dinesh (Head ranger) kindly provided us with a few alternative excursions we could do during our stay as Yala was closed. We were taken out along the border that sits between the camp and Yala (the buffer zone) by the lovely Thaviru. Thaviru was very knowledgeable and answered any question we had about the wildlife we saw. We still managed to see two bull elephants (one with tusks), eagles, crocodiles, deer, snakes and the tracks from the famous leopards. We also got to see the amazing sithulpawwa temple and learn more about the stupas and their history whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Yala from above! The food at tribe Yala was expectional, I am coeliac/gluten free and the staff were extremely accommodating. All food we were served was delicious authentic Sri Lankan food. The staff also very kindly set up a romantic candlelit dinner on the grounds of the hotel and made us a cake to celebrate the occasion. Breakfast was incredible, we had treetop views overlooking the nature around us. To eat, we had Sri Lankan curry and hoppers, along with fresh fruit. We would definitely recommend it to all! Overall, this was an unforgettable one of a kind experience and the most perfect way to kickstart our honeymoon. All the staff were incredible, Dinush, Dinesh and Thaviru were extremely attentive and helpful during our stay.

The feeling of being so close to nature while having all our needs taken care of was truly special. The entire trip was seamless, and that's thanks to Sara, who organized everything flawlessly. From the delicious food to the well-maintained campsite and the knowledgeable guides, every detail was perfect. The safari itself was unforgettable, with amazing wildlife sightings and stay inside the yala national park. in the night time we show leopard around us.with the many of animals sounds actually we didn't sleep, it unusual for us.this is the same like we stayed in Serengeti National park in Kenya.same feeling i got in here. This is the ultimate way to experience Yala, national park inside night with animals and we highly recommend it!

The staff set up a beautiful candlelit dinner under the stars for us. It was incredibly intimate and cozy—honestly, pure magic! The whole camp has such a lovely, intimate atmosphere. It's truly a place where you can relax and unwind completely. We absolutely loved every second!

We stayed at AT ONE and absolutely loved it. Beautiful luxury tents surrounded by nature — peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The people running AT ONE are truly wonderful: warm, genuine, and always supportive. The food was exceptional and full of flavor. A heartfelt, welcoming place. 10/10 — would return without hesitation.

Amazing deluxe room in Green Villa. Spacious, clean and good AC. Family very friendly, relaxed, flexible. We were generously treated with mangoes and other fruits from the garden. They have over 5 species of mango (consider it a local mango tasting). Swimming pool clean and close to the lake. Kind dogs that help protect from a friendly elephant visit (who also wanted a nightly mango tasting).

Flameback Eco Lodge ligt in Yala, op 42 km van Situlpawwa, en biedt een conciërgeservice en gratis WiFi. Het is een heerlijke locatie. Het uitzicht op het meer. De zonsopgang vanuit je lodge is adembenemend. De staff is heel erg vriendelijk en niets is hen teveel. Het eten is voortreffelijk.
