The owner was very kind as well. Super close to Amsterdam centre as a farm house, 20 EUR is nothing to get there with an Uber, rather than expensive public transportation.

One of the nicest places I have stayed at. The house is charming and you get a true feeling of the Netherlands, by stating on a farm. The owner is very nice, picked us up on the train station and explained everything and the house comes with all the facilities you would need. Weesp is a cute, little town, with restaurants and supermarket, everything you need and the train station is 15min by bike, on an idyllic route through the countryside. By train we visited Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Zandaam, the Hague, Haarlem, all very easy. Recommendations for peaceful holodays!

The space itself was private and very thoughtfully arranged. The bedding was warm and comfortable. The water heater and stove were much appreciated in the chilly weather. The owners were incredibly nice, and I'm very grateful for them offering to give me and my bicycle a ride back to the train station when stormy weather made it rather risky to cycle there myself. All the other campers there were very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was exactly as described. Very peaceful and at a very good price. The hosts were very nice, and gave a really warm welcome. Highly recommend. I will return again.

Special thanks to Margret who is a friendly, helpful and personable host. The interior of the wagon is thoughtfully designed to make optimum use of the space to suit two adults, with all mod cons while keeping the character of the traditional "pipowagen". Everything is there...the description is accurate! Situated among the bulb fields behind the North Holland Dunes National Park.

Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν εξαιρετική και πολύ φιλική. Κατευθείαν νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας !! Η τοποθεσία είναι γύρω στα 50 λεπτά από το Άμστερνταμ ( με τα ΜΜΜ και 20 λεπτά περπάτημα) ,αλλά το μέρος αξίζει την απόσταση. Ήταν καθαρά και οργανωμένα ολα.Θα το ξανα-προτιμούσαμε σίγουρα για τις διακοπές μας !!

The unit offers 4 beds. Το De Groote Wijzend βρίσκεται σε Lutjebroek και παρέχει δωρεάν WiFi και θέα στο ποτάμι. Έχει επίσης κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. The safari tent is well equipped and comfortable. The facilities are great and the location ideal to visit the small towns of Endhuizen and Hoorn but also Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam etc. The tent on the side of the river under a greenhouse is really original and the open bathroom has a tropical flavour…. Kees, the owner was kind and very responsive- he gave us excellent info. We were also lucky to have the place to ourselves - a real luxury! The jacuzzi at night was so nice too.
