It was a real privilege to be able to spend two nights at this fantastic location. Our hut was very comfortable and the nearby shared kitchen and bathroom hut was well equipped. Our host Alana was very welcoming and provided lots of useful information. We spent a lovely day at the station doing the nearby suggested walks and were lucky enough to watch the early morning clouds lift and get a view later on of Mount Cook. The clear skies on our second night afforded us a great view of the Milky Way. By the way, the gravel road up to the station is by no means difficult to negotiate and the end result is most definitely worth it.

The glamping pod was fabulous with a gorgeous view, the hot tub was divine and the games room was a bonus - had quite a few laughs while playing darts, pool and table tennis.

The air-conditioned mobile home has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a hairdryer and a kitchen. In the kitchen, guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. The tiny home was very well equipped and clean. I was greeted with sunshine at arrival so that I could try out the deck chairs straight away. The bed was very comfy, the linens just right for a cool night. I could see the stars looking out the window and woke up to an impressive sunrise over the hills. A very special place tucked away in a quiet valley.

Amazing tiny home in an awesome quiet, peaceful and elevated location with spectacular views down Akaroa harbour. 15 min drive into Akaroa but the tranquil peaceful location is magic. Accomodation is on a lavender farm and there are walking trails and full access to the rows of lavender. Lyn and Malcolm were exceptional hosts! Very friendly, kind and at tentative to our needs. Make sure to purchase some pacific blue lavender essential oil! Nice touches in the tiny house - with cushions that showcase the indigenous pigeons the place is named after and lavender water spray. Note that the toilet is a cassette toilet - this was not a problem for us - but it may be a surprise to others

The cottage was beautiful and fully equipped. Everything was beautiful and tidy. The location was great - it was close to the city centre but also secluded.
