My main reason for staying in this hostel was hiking to the peak of Jebel Shams and Mahmood made it possible, really caring that I am well prepared. Well equipped shared spaces: spacious seating area, big table fitting all the guests, books and tourist information in various languages, traditional clothes that you can try on and wear for a dinner out, frankincense aroma...

The accommodation was a little more expensive than our usual budget but 100% worth it. The location is ideal for the Balcony walk, you have the whole space to yourself so it's completely private, experiencing sunrise from your bed is amazing, as well as seeing the sun go down over the mountains in the afternoon, amazing. The bed is comfy, the water is hot, good air con, everything you need. We took our meals as an add on to the booking, Ram who prepares and serves all the food is AMAZING, he is such a lovely man, gave us loads of info, is friendly and cooks lovely food 10/10 would recommend and thank you for being so great Ram!
