The villa and luxury tent were great to stay in and we all slept well! We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

We were told repeatedly not to bother with Aberdeen as there is nothing there. However, we had a lovely stoppover with nice friendly hosts. They are working on adding a new coffee shop, so I can only guess the place will be even better.

This Luxury Tent Room has a private entrance with an open plan room with a Double Bed and bathroom with shower. The Luxury Tent Room shares balcony with beautiful views. One of the Highlights of our Trip. The two hosts made us feel like old family members from far away from the first moment on. The tents are wonderful and sitting on the terrace watching the wild giraffes and other wildlife was hands down under the top 5 travel experiences we experienced in our lifes. I highly recommend going there also with children and to show them the wildlife of SA with a huge variety of animals. The Braai in the evening is another highlight featuring the best products like organic butter or meat. Do yourself a favor and don’t rush it. We stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer as you really experience the pleasure of a spot where time stands still. Thank you for having us. We will for sure come back ❤️

This game reserve stands out for us because of the beautiful landscape of rolling hills and dramatic mountain ranges. Game viewing in this setting is something special. Our ranger and the general staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The Hillside Manor is luxurious comfort. Definitely one of our best family experiences. Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.

Our three days at Bush Lodge were amazing. The accommodation was perfect (we appreciated the private plunge pool and loved the large comfortable bed). The meals varied and delicious. Most of all were the six game drives with James (JD) at the helm. We saw a wide variety of animals including 4 of the Big 5. Thanks to a wonderful team for making our little vacation memorable.

This colonial-style tent features a private deck with outdoor seating and military campaign-style furniture. The bathroom comes with a shower. Each tent has a private wood-fired hot tub. We loved our stay here! If you are looking for an authentic experience in the bush we would highly recommend! The guided were exceptional, the food was great, we had a lovely stay!
